The consultation is your time to, not only get to know our attorneys, but ask any questions and voice your concerns with the case. In some cases, we will be able to prepare documents for submission to court.

At East County Family Law Group, we believe in providing the best service to our clients and potential clients. Our experience and expertise help us stand out from other family law attorneys.

Why our FAMILY LAW consultations are not free

Generally, when attorneys offer free consultations, they are only gathering bits and pieces of your case, as their consultations are short. They don’t have time to really provide the right information and/or direction you need. The information you receive in the short free consultations are often based on generalities of the types of cases the attorneys have dealt with. They don’t take the time to fully listen and understand your case. The attorneys at East County Family Law strongly believe that your time and concern for your case is valuable. That is why it’s important for you to receive an honest consultation with a family law attorney that fully understands the law and how it applies to your specific case, lasting longer than 20-30 minutes free consults.  Our attorneys take the time, to get to know you and your case, so that you can feel comfortable in making the decision to retain the right family law attorney for your family law matter.

What you need to bring to your FAMILY LAW consultation

Once you have scheduled a consultation, you will be emailed an intake questionnaire. We ask that you complete the questionnaire prior to your consultation. This will help our attorneys know some basics about your case, which will help us better address your issues in your case during the consultation.

If your case has not been started yet, during the first meeting with our attorneys, we ask that you bring the following documents to help us complete any of the required court forms for your case:

  • Any paperwork previously submitted to court
  • Any paperwork related to an existing case
  • Current bank statements
  • Current credit card statements
  • Latest tax returns
  • Paycheck stubs
  • Any property deeds
  • A list of furniture, furnishings, electronics, appliances, etc.
  •

Paying for your FAMILY LAW consultation

You will be emailed an online invoice you can pay prior to your consult. We offer this, as some people are using credit cards that belong to someone else. As we can't take those in person at your consultation, you can use this feature to pay for it ahead of time.  However, at the time of your consultation you can use a credit card, cash or check to pay for your consultation.
